I’ve never had therapy before, what can I expect?

Person-centred counselling offers a supportive, non-judgemental space where you can explore your thoughts and feelings at your own pace. You’ll be truly listened to and accepted for who you are, helping you to better understand yourself, make sense of what you’re going through, and move towards growth and change.

I need to cancel my appointment, will there be a charge?

We need 24hrs to cancel your appointment. If the cancelation is within that window I’m afraid the cost of the appointment will still be chargeable.

How long is each session and how many sessions will I need?

Sessions are 50 minutes and I suggest having them the same time each week to keep scheduling easy for both parties. It varies from person to person, some people may only need a handful. While overs may want to spend longer in therapy

Where do you offer therapy?

I work in Falmouth at the Lifetime Therapy office in town - 37A Killigrew Street, Falmouth, TR11 3PW. I also work online if that is your preference.

How do I pay?

You can pay on the day after the session via invoice, BACs or card payment

Is everything I say confidential?

Yes it is. However, there are some reasons where confidentiality needs to be broken. This will be discussed with you in your first session and also be in your contract to review. If confidentiality was ever broken we would raise it with you first before doing anything else so you are aware and part of the process.
